A brooding and reticent nose is comprised by notes of both red and dark berry fruit that is cut with earth and pretty floral wisps. There is fine volume to the intense, serious and nicely detailed middle weight flavors that terminate in a lingering and solidly complex finish that evidences a touch of rusticity. This is a very good Savigny villages and worth checking out.
